Get rid of your hump (even if you are hiding it).
Many of us have hyper-kyphosis (the hump in the upper back that is beyond neutral spine), but we have learned how to hide it subconsciously. Pulling your shoulders back is one way (winging the scapula). Then your hump dives in and you can look pretty "aligned", but you are growing weaker and damaging your body unknowingly.
Step 1: Lie on the floor, with your fists right under your shoulders, elbows close to the body. This first image I am showing my "wing" in the shoulder blade. To do this properly you can't have your wing on. Get rid of it by aligning your ribcage to neutral (here I have no upper back (thoracic) curve—that is not my neutral spine.
