I have done many forms of exercise in my life. Mostly hoping to look better. At a few points I was looking pretty darn good (wedding motivation was particularly effective:). But, these days my motivations are MUCH different. I still would like to look good, but really I want to FEEL good and really really I want to optimize how my human machine is functioning. I want to help this machine that I have live the longest, with all the parts working and be medicine and pain free. Too much to ask? I think NOT!. Coming this year I am launching a new program on whole body alignment and will also hopefully be posting all I can to help share this information with you either on this site or here. I believe that this information is so powerful to actual health, longevity and full functioning of all of your systems that I want to share it with everyone; you, your mother, your neighbor, you neighbor's mother and her cousin... you get the idea. Dear clients, you DO get this info in little bits in all your sessions but we don't focus on it—we use it as part of PIlates. That being said, I hope to blog more about the things that I am trying to teach in Pilates class and often don't spend the time to really go deep, deep.
I would love to hear why you do what you do for for fitness — there are no wrong answers! Now I am off to do some aligning!!
